So here we go again ... boldly
I'm not sure what time is this (seems like I'm on repeat my whole life... uh 9 children), but it's never late to start anew. And this is me starting my home page/web page/blog page/photo/video/vlog/news portal once again.
Trigger, this time, was an optical internet that just came to my village, though I had to wait three weeks even after it arrived as it wasn't working (infrastructure error), but also every team that has come to install it didn't have proper tools with them as my walls are 55cm tick (no wonder, that telcoms don't have internal teams anymore, as only the team that successfully connected me did get paid).
Anyway introducing optical connection allows me to create and host this site at home and also I don't have to upload tons of photos as all my backups are on NAS at home.
Also for more technical part of story I was searching for static page generator that will host my images and wouldn't require a database, I don't need search or some other fancy things and I want to be able to manipulate data easy like copy/paste easy. Finnaly I've decided to use Grav CMS. There is more than few benefits comparing to other tools that I've tried. I want something that will work more/less out of the box. I did try Thumbsup just static gallery generator, then Hugo, Hexo, and like 20 others.
Anyway enjoy public parts of site and if you're one of my friends enjoy your galleries.
